Driven by our commitment to create innovative content that delights the world, this new structure, combining extensive experience with outstanding expertise, marks our step onto the next stage.
We are delighted to introduce the three core executives who will lead our future management.

■ Katsuaki Setoguchi – President and CEO

Katsuaki Setoguchi, who has produced numerous hit works including Boys Over Flowers and 99.9 Criminal Lawyer, has been appointed President and CEO of THE SEVEN. Currently serving as an Executive Officer at TBS Holdings, overseeing global business, he has earned high trust both domestically and internationally in both creative and management fields. Moving forward, he will leverage his extensive experience and knowledge to drive THE SEVEN's further growth.

■ Akira Morii – Executive Vice President, CCO (Chief Content Officer)

Akira Morii, who has produced globally acclaimed works such as Alice in Borderland and Yu Yu Hakusho, has been appointed Executive Vice President, continuing as CCO. With an unwavering commitment to quality and unique producing skills that establish his presence in the domestic and international film industries, Morii will continue to be at the core of THE SEVEN's creative strategy.

■ Tomofumi Akahane – Board Director, CVO (Chief VFX Officer)

Tomofumi Akahane, an internationally acclaimed VFX producer who received the Grand Award in the VFX category at the Asian Academy Creative Awards 2024 for the Netflix series Yu Yu Hakusho, has been appointed CVO (Chief VFX Officer). Leveraging his experience in successfully completing numerous large-scale projects in collaboration with top studios worldwide, he will disseminate Japan's advanced visual effects technology to the global market.
