The M6 Studio, a newly built sound stage, is essential and exclusive to THE SEVEN’s works. It is conveniently located in Midoriyama Studio, a massive shooting complex (approx. 260,000 square meters) owned by TBS (Tokyo Broadcasting System) Group, about 45 minutes from central Tokyo.

The size of the M6 studio is one of the largest sound stages in Japan at 300 “tsubo” (approx. 1,000 square meters) and was designed to flexibly accommodate various shooting environments, meeting the needs and quality standards of global distribution platforms and film productions.

In addition, the facility is adjacent to a vast back lot of approximately 20,000 “tsubo” (approx. 70,000 square meters) available for an outdoor set, making it an efficient environment for shooting large scale productions. It is the filming location of the world-renowned sports entertainment show SASUKE (aka Ninja Warrior).

As VFX (Visual Effects) has become crucial for high-end visual expression, THE SEVEN is equipped with a VFX room enabling us to establish a seamless, world-standard workflow with domestic and international VFX vendors for an expressive, sophisticated production. We are able to lead the production of high-quality pictures that meet the strict global standards in each phase from planning, pre-production, shooting to post-production. Additionally, we are equipped with a 4K HDR monitoring environment for reviewing global OTT content in accordance with standard delivery specifications.
