Mamoru INOUE

Inoue’s career began at Asahi Shimbun and the Shiki Theater Company, then took a position as a drama and film producer at a premium pay TV platform, WOWOW. While there, Inoue was involved in the launch of the original drama series Drama W (2003), produced Double Face (2012), MOZU (2014), and numerous film adaptations of best-seller novels, including Samayou Yaiba (2021) by Keigo Higashino, which won Best Picture at the JSBA Awards. His produced feature film Parade (2010) won the FIPRESCI Prize at the 60th Berlin International Film Festival, and drama series Heaven’s Ark (2012) was nominated for Best TV Movie or Miniseries at the 41st International Emmy Awards. Inoue later produced MOZU (2014), which was nominated for Best Drama Series at the 43rd International Emmy Awards. After his tenure at WOWOW, Inoue participated in the launch of a new satellite broadcasting station and worked as Content Producer at a major entertainment agency. Joined THE SEVEN in July 2023.
